Our copy and contract regulations.
- Publisher reserves the right to approve all advertising copy, and the right to reject any advertisement at any time. Publisher reserves the right to cancel an advertisement even if receipt has been acknowledged, and to identify advertising that may be mistaken for editorial matter.
- Advertiser and agency are jointly responsible for payment of all advertising insertions. All costs of collection, whether or not suit is filed, including attorney fees, shall be paid by the advertiser and/or agency.
- First time advertisers and one time advertisers must pay in advance. Tearsheet confirmation will be sent to all repeat advertisers placing 1/4 page or larger ads. Tearsheets will be furnished upon publication for recurring ads. Payments for continuous advertising due within 30 days of publication date.
- Neither advertiser nor agency may cancel insertion orders after ad closing dates. Cancellation must be in writing and will not be considered accepted until confirmed by the Publisher.
- Only standard size space units may be used unless approved by the publisher. Publisher reserves the right to adjust the size of ads that do not conform to required dimensions, and to exclude advertising material from certain pages.
- Not So Modern Drummer will not be held responsible for advertiser's materials after 90 days.
- Publisher shall not be liable for failure to print or circulate any issue if such failure is due to circumstances beyond the publisher's control.
- Advertiser and agency, jointly and severally, will indemnify the officers and employees of Not So Modern Drummer against losses resulting from the publication of its advertisements, including suits for libel, violations of the right of privacy, copyright infringement, or plagiarism.
- NSMD will not be bound by conditions on contracts or insertion orders that may be in conflict with the provisions of this rate card.
