20" ludwig bass drum - need information about this drum

I have a chance to acquire this drum, but I've never seen one like it before, and was wanting some information about it. Anyone have any info on it?

Looks refinished??
No hoop inlays and a nice finish lead me to that conclusion.

Slingerland disappearing spurs.

A pic of the badge might help with the identity crisis..

This is definitely refinished. It was originally a duco finish like blue and silver. I have one that is just blue. The spurs were added also. This drum was probably sold with a 3x13 matching snare a called a student set. Made in early sixties.

Thanks for the info. I've decided to pass on it. It was available for $50, which while it might be about fair, is not a deal. And I'm looking for a deal

Depends on how it sounds. If it sounded great it would have been quite a deal.
