NOW LISTED ON EBAY (1/27/10)
This is a very nice drum. The WMP is nicely mellowed, shiny, no cracks or flaws with a tight seam. A couple of the lugs have very minor pitting, but all are polished and bright. Some light pitting on the handle of the P-83. Hoops are very good chrome on brass. There is one small spot of tarnished chrome inside the top hoop, but it is not noticeable unless you look for it. It has new tension rods, a nearly new Evans Batter head, and a new Evans Snare Side 300 Hazy head, Ludwig 18 wire snare. NOW, FULL DISCLOSURE: I had removed all the hardware, including the grommet and keystone badge, to re-wrap the drum when I found the drum I really wanted, a gold sparkle Jazz Fest, on Craig's List. So, I cleaned and polished the shell and all hardware then reassembled this drum to sell. I didn't want to use one of the generally available brass grommets to reinstall the keystone badge because they are too big and cover part of the crossed sticks on the Ludwig logo so I reused the original grommet holding it in place with a little epoxy. From the outside it looks like it was never removed; from the inside you don't see the original "rolled" grommet edge (see the photos). Price: $220 plus shipping - Paypal only - Sale is final. (Stand seen in photos is NOT included.) I will ship UPS Ground to US address only, no international shipping. The cost will be depend on the destination from So. Calif, but should be less than $24.
