NSMD Engraved Black Beauty snares back in production!

John Aldridge has engraved the first of the new NSMD Black Beauty snare drums. These beautiful black nickel chrome over brass shells are engraved by THE engraver of the drum industry, John Aldridge. John has engraved drums for the most prominent drum manufacturers in the world.
As former owner and publisher of Not So Modern Drummer magazine he made and sold his own NSMD brand snare drums engraved with classic patterns in the nineties and early 2000s. Those drums have appreciated in value considerably and are rare collector items.
The new production of these drums features the NSMD engraved logo and classic historic engraving scroll, floral and other patterns. Each drum is unique in that no two engravings are exactly alike. Many popular sizes and hardware options are available. Shown in the picture is the first one off the line with the NSMD logo and engraving based on a Slingerland scroll pattern.
