To the international drumming community:
I’m extremely grateful for…and humbled by…the response we’ve received from drummers around the world to news of my wife Crystal’s illness. Some of those drummers are friends and colleagues that I’ve known for years. But many are people I’ve never met. I’ve always maintained that drummers really are all one family; it’s only now that I’m beginning to appreciate how strong that family bond really is.
Crystal has been undergoing chemotherapy to treat her leukemia since just after Thanksgiving. She’ll be in the hospital over the holidays and into the new year. Only time will tell how effective the treatment has been thus far, and what the future holds for her. In the meantime, we continue to ask for your prayers and positive thoughts.
For those who might wish to contribute to the Crystal Van Horn Emergency Fund, there are now two ways to do so.
