 About Kenny Aronoff:

Kenny grew up Stockbridge, Massachusetts, and originally trained as a classical percussionist before changing his focus to drum kit upon graduating from Indiana University.

Kenny is one of the world’s most influential and in-demand drummers. The list of artists he’s worked with reads like a who’s who of the music industry, and includes John Mellencamp, The Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Seger, Melissa Etheridge, Jon Bon Jovi, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Rod Stewart, Alanis Morissette, The Rolling Stones, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Avril Lavigne, John Fogerty, Joe Cocker, Mick Jagger, Alice Cooper, Meat Loaf, Bonnie Raitt, Ricky Martin, Santana, Trey Anastasio, Michelle Branch, the BoDeans, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and many others. Chances are you’ve heard dozens and dozens of songs featuring Kenny’s fantastic drumming.

Kenny is also one of hardest working musicians in the business, a consummate professional, the perfect gentleman, and incredibly health-conscious. Kenny said, "I want to play until I'm 100 and live to be 110!"

Todd Sucherman is definitely correct when he says, "Music keeps you young." Kenny is proof positive of that!
