There are a couple of new features here at Not So Modern Drummer magazine.

First, check out the new and improved NSMD STORE on the site where we are selling NSMD T shirts and coffee mugs, back issue collections, and the Famous snare drums. New products to be added soon are more apparel items, drum art posters and vintage drum reference books.

The Classified Ads is the second new feature. Ya know, NSMD was started in 1988 as a classified ads rag for vintage drum enthusiasts. Even though our DrumSellers.com marketplace has been rocking for three years with thousands of buyers and sellers, there are some drummers who want to do it the old fashioned way for one reason or another. So, I set this up just like the old “White Paper” classified ads in the old NSMD days of yore. Pretty simple - Email me your ad text, pics and contact info for your listing and I will publish your ad in the monthly emailed issue that is sent to 30,000 subscribers, and on the website. Leave it up until you want to cancel it and all communication and payment is arranged between you and the buyer. The one time fee per ad is $10 which is payable by any of the digital payment systems, or by check/money order. You may want to place your ad on DrumSellers.com as well. Here is the first ad that was placed by Dave Levine for a “PURE” fiberglass drum set.

Condolences to the family, friends and fans of Ronnie Tutt, a legendary drummer who performed with the biggest music stars and left a long legacy of recordings. He was famously know for being Elvis Presley’s Drummer with the TCB band.
