Hi George,

I came across your Not So Modern Drummer website and wanted to let you know of an interesting opportunity should you have any interest or perhaps know someone who might. 

The Gretsch company, which is headquartered in Pooler, GA, published a Request for Proposal to find a home for an inventory of vintage 70s' Slingerland Timpani parts and pieces - all the details are here:

The RFP is looking for either a financial offer to purchase the inventory in its entirety -or- for a proposal to use the inventory in a manner that would benefit an educational organization/school or charitable cause. In that scenario, the selected proposal gets the full inventory for $1.
