Terry Silverlight began creating his new solo album before the COVID-19 pandemic hit. In fact, Terry has enjoyed making music on own since he was a kid. Even at a very young age when he was pursuing a drumming career... Terry was sharpening his writing and recording skills.
”This new album is very special. It's just me doing all of the writing, producing, arranging, instruments, vocals, recording, and filming."
Previously, Terry has made several solo albums featuring himself in various musical styles and settings... Including ensembles, duets, songwriter collaborations with guest instrumentalists and vocalists. He's had the opportunity to perform and record with some of the world's most outstanding musicians... Including, Vic Juris - Eric Kloss, Phil Woods - Barry Miles, The Manhattan Jazz Orchestra - Billy Ocean - George Benson -Laura Nyro - Natalie Merchant - Freddie Jackson and Jeffrey Osborne...To name a few.
Terry Silverlight has also played drums on numerous Hollywood films... Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppets Take Manhattan, You’ve Got Mail, One Fine Day, Frida, My Blue Heaven, Object Of My Affection, The Butcher Boy, Slaves Of New York, Titus, What Planet Are You From, Mr. & Mrs. Bridges, Bronx Boys, and The DayTrippers. He has also composed music for film and television - The Sopranos - Sunshine Cleaning - Invincible - Greenland and many more.
"It was challenging and rewarding putting together my take on the various musical styles, directions and dynamics that interest me into one album.
