Hello everyone!
First, I would like to explain why I have not written my column this 2023 year, it’s been a horrendous time.
Both of my parents passed away in January and February exactly three weeks apart. Right afterwards I was diagnosed with two different forms of metastatic head and neck cancers. After 7-8 long months of many surgeries, long and short hospital stays and finally radiation treatments I’m all good. I still have some recovering to do but I’m back at everything I was before, just not 100% yet.
Enough of that.

I would like to introduce you to my stunning vintage 1960s Rogers little Jazz Bop Set!
18” Bass Drum, 14” Floor Tom and 12” Tom. I added another 14” floor and the matching snare in some of the photos from two of my other sets just for a WOW-factor.
I stumbled upon this set only two weeks ago and I am so thrilled I did, it has been a search many years in the making.

This set is 100% original arriving with its original heads and in near mint condition, totally fantastic!!!
The BDP wrap is like new and there are zero modifications.
In fact, it was so clean when I acquired it that I simply wiped the bearing edges and added new REMO heads, all sans the bass resonant.
I will be adding this to my permanent arsenal of sound while recording and performing with it live as the venue requires.
Thank you as always for reading.
Stay tuned…
