Leedy & Ludwig Zebra finish

August 31, 2023 George Lawrence

Hi George,

Todd Little. cymbal historian here. I came across this ad for the Leedy&Ludwig Zebra finish that is mentioned in this article while doing some research through old Down Beat magazines.

https://www.notsomoderndrummer.com/not-so-modern-drummer/columns/mike-curotto-medium-rare-drums/1950-55-leedy-ludwig-5x14-zebra-broadway-standard

Thought it might be cool to add to the article retroactively (if possible) or that the author (Mike Curotto) might appreciate seeing it. The ad is from the Sept. 10, 1952 issue of Downbeat Magazine

Cheers, Todd
