Gregg Potter and Buddy’s daughter Cathy Rich are on a mission to expose Buddy's music to younger audiences, and to preserve the 'Big Band' art form for future generations.

Gregg Potter is the Emmy Award winning drummer for the new Buddy Rich Band. Gregg first played with the BR Band at the 25th Anniversary Buddy Rich Memorial Concert at England's London Palladium in April of 2012. For the last three years Gregg has been fronting the BR Band in collaboration with Cathy Rich. He lead the band through a sold out 2012 Summer Tour, and a 2013 SRO concert series in Japan.

In December 2012, Gregg was featured in the special commemorative Buddy Rich issue of Modern Drummer Magazine. In 2015, Hal Leonard Publishing will be releasing a first ever, Buddy Rich “Play Along” CD/ Book package featuring Gregg's drumming along with the Buddy Rich Alumni Band.
