Happy Holidays to everyone. This beauty just showed up today. My good friend, fellow collector and President of The Craviotto Drum Company, Steve Maxwell informed me last year that he was adding me to The Craviotto Drum Co. Education Endorsers group. That alone is a great honor but along with this honor I was also awarded a Craviotto snare drum of my choice!
10-18-18 CRAVIOTTO DRUM CO. 4.5 x 14 SOLID CHERRY/MAPLE INLAY/GOLD PLATED CUSTOM SHOP SNARE DRUM
I own a number of maple and birch Craviotto snare drums so I decided to try something new. My friend David Victor (VP – Operations, Sales & Marketing) helped me pick out a new shell to add to my collection. I decided on a solid cherry shell with a maple inlay, a 45 degree bearing edge, gold plated hardware and engraved hoops. I liked the combination of cherry wood and gold plating.
The drum tuned up nicely and will be added to my modern-day snare collection in my drum studio.
Xmas came early this year!
