And now for something completely different!

January 29, 2024 Joel Rothman

While this post may not be directly on the subject associated with this group, in these times, when we’re fed a daily diet of dreadful news featuring wars, school shootings, covid, floods, etc. we all need something to make us smile, and I can practically guarantee the following will provoke a smile—perhaps even a chuckle. It's an unusual and amusing photo of the best drum student I ever had. His name is Leo King. You may never have heard of him, but he’s a great drummer, and his  group take a lot of pride in the fact that they’re a roaring success where they play. In the photo Leo is holding one of the special drum sticks I used in teaching him. Anyone have a good idea for an appropriate caption?
