Hello George today in Edmonton around a table of drummers we were discussing vintage drums. I mentioned that a while back a bass player I know dropped off a couple items that he no longer wanted. One being a brass snare shell made by the Advanced Drum Co.  here are a couple pictures. One of the drummers at the table mentioned meeting you at a NAMM show in the 90’s. And suggested I reach out to you on some of the history surrounding this drum.  -Dwayne Hrynkiw

Thanks, Dwayne. I will defer to Ronn Dunnett who now owns the George Way Drum Brand and who wrote this fine article about a rare Advanced Drum he owns that was published in an earlier issue of Not So Modern Drummer. (Read Here)
