This is from Zickos Drum Corporation in the 1970s.
I’ve spent the last few weeks going through a massive, and I mean massive vintage drum catalog haul, hundreds and hundreds, and I’m no where near finished. This rare Zickos Drum Corporation item was included.
This Zickos Drum Corporation factory authorized portfolio is either a dealer catalog, corporate item, a dealer only item or distributor book. And it is full of separate loose distribution flyers and smaller catalogs. I believe the stores that carried Zickos Drums, or dealers with no in-store inventory used this at their counters to go through with interested potential customers to order from, buts that’s pure speculation on my part.
The portfolio itself is simply 8” x 10” glossy photographs slipped into clear pockets of all the sets they offered with no sheets of text, only what is listed on the photos themselves.
This is something I never saw before and a very cool addition to the archive.
