Ludwig 1920s field drum. I bought this on Ebay in 2001. It was in rough shape. The badge is really worn. Note that there is no throw off, just a strainer to tighten the snare wires. I painted the shell, added a leg rest, a strap hook, modern heads and snare wires. It’s a good sounding drum and I have used it in many parades, especially on Beale Street here in Memphis.
