I am brokering this nice set of Slingerlands for Joe Ferrara. I am handling all aspects of the sale except shipping the drums. Joe will ship them from New York. Buyer pays shipping. Please direct all questions and offers to me, George Lawrence, at 330 338 6035 (text preferred) and george@notsosmoderndrummer.com. Cash, check or money order only. No digital payments.

14x20 bass drum, 8x12 mounted tom, 16x16 floor tom, fiber cases, throne.
Joe has sent me lots of pictures and noted details about the condition of the drums: Zoom in on the pictures below to inspect. More pictures upon request.
Joe is asking $2500 plus shipping but will entertain offers.

“My Drum Story:

When I was about 15 years old, circa 1974, my cousin was in a band.  The drummer was leaving the state and I acquired his drum set. I was mesmerized by these drums.  To me they were gorgeous and so different.  Noone had that design. Because I wanted to protect them, I immediately purchased hard shell cases. As a teenager, I remember even waxing the set, LOL.A bar band drummer was selling his old cymbals and hardware.  I borrowed cash and drove 20 miles on a bicycle to pick them up.  Rode them all the way home.

We played at churches/parties and even a local pub.  We thought we were going to become Led Zeppelin.
I idolized John Bonham.  Time passed, life took over, got married/apartment/job.  Loosened up the skins and put them away with the memories in the hopes that one day my children would play. That never happened.

FYI, my guitarist from high school now is with the Trans Siberian Orchestra.

Thanks for all your help.

Joe”
